WHAT GOD DOES

To: Pain Guardian

Though never directly asked, his questions seem to always be “Does anyone see me?” “Am I alone in this world or does someone have my back?” and “Am I worth it?” Unfortunately we all know he’s not the only one who feels this way. We feel as if it is up to us to face the trials and pains of this world without help.

But that’s the complete opposite of what Jesus wants, of what His very existence means!!!! He came here so He could REACH US!!

Picture it this way-  a kid’s hiding under a bed, so you tell him to come out …He doesn’t. You get down on your hands and knees and tell him again to “come on.”  He still refuses to leave. Finally you must resort to lying there with him, telling him about all the wonderful toys and etc that wait for him when he decides to leave… In time he realizes the promised glorious life outside of the bed’s hiding sounds better. So he gets up and follows you.

…Isn’t that exactly what God did for us…?

Did He not talk to our hearts from way up in heaven? And when we did not listen did He not send prophets to help get us closer to Him? …And finally, when our spirits refused to be led, did He not send His one and only Son, to live among us, to be us, that way we’d experience first hand the telling of the riches He’s promised? 

Yeah. He did.

So, can’t you see what has been done for you? How is it you think you are alone and unaided when  the purest of Heaven came here to be with you? And that He left a part of Himself here in the form of the Holy Spirit, to lead you and comfort you?

YOU ARE LOVED. YOU ARE SO IMPORTANT TO GOD THAT HE PUT YOU HERE TO DO SOMETHING SO IMPORTANT THAT ONLY YOU CAN DO IT!! SOMETHING THAT CAN BE AS SIMPLE AS LIVING FOR HIM AND BEING A WITNESS FOR OTHERS. 

& You are loved more than you will ever know, you’ve even been died for on a cross 2,000 yrs ago, you’ve been Risen for, fought for, stolen for (Jesus took the keys to Hell.) And the evidence to all of this rests not only in every breath you take, but in the very Love that you seek. You won’t find the answer, the Love, you search for here on Earth. But you can be a reflection of it to others, and in that feel this all comforting Love you desire.
