Let Go

Let Go…

Do you have any unforgiveness That you can’t seem to let go?

Is your life full of bitterness That’s stopping up the flow?

Of the blessings, truth and mercy God’s trying to get through?

If you cannot forgive others Then He cannot forgive you

You’re living your life without Him, Selfish and all alone

As though “you” were all that mattered, And in your heart He’s found no Home

He’s called your name before. I’m sure you’ve heard Him once or twice

But His Voice was drowned by your anger In a heart that was as cold as ice

He wonders how you could doubt Him And the love He has for You

He’s sent His Word to help you And His Spirit to see you through

The trials and disappointments That you have faced on your own

Were never intended for you To go through all alone

That’s a choice that You made When you stopped up the flow

With the anger and unforgiveness…He now wants you to “LET GO”

“For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions.”

Matthew 6:14-15

Let's face it-

We all need help. But often times are too afraid or embarresed to ask someone we know personally. We all need answers. And though the Bible holds many of them, opening it and trying to decode its teachings to fit our individual lives can be a daunting, sometimes even untried feat. We all need someone to listen. But for a lot of us we think we need more than God's ever present ear.
That's where I come in. Give me the question, the problem, the worry, or the need, and I will do all I can in God's granted power to help give you your answer.

You Aren't Alone.

No matter how much you feel like it, you are never alone. This comforts some and scares others, but nevertheless it is true. Whether you're standing in the midst of a crowd of your peers, wearing a plastic smile to match theirs while feeling as if no one couldn't care less if you even existed, much less accepted the invite. Or sitting on a half deserted bus, headphones in ears, bitterness in heart, thoughts no one should ever think swirling in your head... God's here. He's always here. Feeling alone and being alone are two different things.

I know, I've been there. It's hard to trust that God knows what is going on inside your heart every second of every day. Its hard to not want to completely withdraw from the world when it has hurt you so many times. And it is hard to have to realize this world isn't perfect, that the people who live here aren't, and that the only perfect One is Jesus. And it's really, really, hard to grasp how no matter how many times you are the one to stab Him in the back, He's always willing and ready to be your best friend...

Just remember this- Jesus had to leave some of His friends behind when He needed to get closest to God. Maybe the reason you are feeling separated is because He needs you to be so you'll seek HIM. And, if not, if you still seek Him, He'll reveal Himself to you, and you won't be alone either way.
