Hero

“To be wise is to know that you are truly ignorant. To be honest is to make someone believe your lie. To be a hero is to overcome your weakness and be a public icon. But to be me, now that is the hard part that not even I truly understand.”

Arial Marsh Honesty is not hiding anything, and to share our heart. A hero doesn't mean to physically save someone, it is to be the strength they need. A prayer, a hug, a smile, all these make us everyday heroes. ...Love makes us heroes in God's eyes and the one's we show love to. Sometimes the fear is opening up to someone so they can open up to you. Once you overcome that...well then it comes naturally from there.

We all need help. But often times are too afraid or embarresed to ask someone we know personally. We all need answers. And though the Bible holds many of them, opening it and trying to decode its teachings to fit our individual lives can be a daunting, sometimes even untried feat. We all need someone to listen. But for a lot of us we think we need more than God's ever present ear.
That's where I come in. Give me the question, the problem, the worry, or the need, and I will do all I can in God's granted power to help give you your answer.

You Aren't Alone.

No matter how much you feel like it, you are never alone. This comforts some and scares others, but nevertheless it is true. Whether you're standing in the midst of a crowd of your peers, wearing a plastic smile to match theirs while feeling as if no one couldn't care less if you even existed, much less accepted the invite. Or sitting on a half deserted bus, headphones in ears, bitterness in heart, thoughts no one should ever think swirling in your head... God's here. He's always here. Feeling alone and being alone are two different things.

I know, I've been there. It's hard to trust that God knows what is going on inside your heart every second of every day. Its hard to not want to completely withdraw from the world when it has hurt you so many times. And it is hard to have to realize this world isn't perfect, that the people who live here aren't, and that the only perfect One is Jesus. And it's really, really, hard to grasp how no matter how many times you are the one to stab Him in the back, He's always willing and ready to be your best friend...

Just remember this- Jesus had to leave some of His friends behind when He needed to get closest to God. Maybe the reason you are feeling separated is because He needs you to be so you'll seek HIM. And, if not, if you still seek Him, He'll reveal Himself to you, and you won't be alone either way.
