A lot like Love…

Love…The strangest of all of the human emotions, the most undiscovered, and untapped of our abilities. Love… can overcome great weakness and override vast deeply inbreeded hates and imbedded fears. It gives us our wonderful ability to forgive, and to forget. It can start wars, end wars, bring in a new life to the world, and make us do things considered by the thought as unloved as insane. It is even sometimes seen as being unreal or a ‘fantasy’. Love… It is stronger, more accepting, and truer than any other emotion existing. It shared by many, but not enough, we all have felt it in some form or another, whether it be the love of a friend, a family member, or your One and your only. It has been studied, abused, dictated over, changed in direction, and even forgotten by some, but it can never be killed out completely. Love… It is the most beautiful of all things, it saves, it redeems, and it heals. It is unearned, unmerited…It just simply is... …It Is Love …

Let's face it-

We all need help. But often times are too afraid or embarresed to ask someone we know personally. We all need answers. And though the Bible holds many of them, opening it and trying to decode its teachings to fit our individual lives can be a daunting, sometimes even untried feat. We all need someone to listen. But for a lot of us we think we need more than God's ever present ear.
That's where I come in. Give me the question, the problem, the worry, or the need, and I will do all I can in God's granted power to help give you your answer.

You Aren't Alone.

No matter how much you feel like it, you are never alone. This comforts some and scares others, but nevertheless it is true. Whether you're standing in the midst of a crowd of your peers, wearing a plastic smile to match theirs while feeling as if no one couldn't care less if you even existed, much less accepted the invite. Or sitting on a half deserted bus, headphones in ears, bitterness in heart, thoughts no one should ever think swirling in your head... God's here. He's always here. Feeling alone and being alone are two different things.

I know, I've been there. It's hard to trust that God knows what is going on inside your heart every second of every day. Its hard to not want to completely withdraw from the world when it has hurt you so many times. And it is hard to have to realize this world isn't perfect, that the people who live here aren't, and that the only perfect One is Jesus. And it's really, really, hard to grasp how no matter how many times you are the one to stab Him in the back, He's always willing and ready to be your best friend...

Just remember this- Jesus had to leave some of His friends behind when He needed to get closest to God. Maybe the reason you are feeling separated is because He needs you to be so you'll seek HIM. And, if not, if you still seek Him, He'll reveal Himself to you, and you won't be alone either way.
